Arizona Woman in Food and Wine is an educational and networking organization established to assist women in Arizona and promote their success in the food, beverage and hospitality industries. Specific objectives include, but are not limited to the following: •   To inform members of the opportunities available to them in the food,beverage and hospitality industries. •   To serve as a clearinghouse for information relating to the industries. •   To assist members in attaining public recognition for their achievements in the industries. •   To offer practical educational seminars and presentations. •   To provide social opportunities for members to interact with others involved in the food, beverage and hospitality industries. •   To promote high professional standards of integrity and to enhance the credibility of our members. Membership Policies and Procedures •   Membership in Arizona Women in Food and Wine is open to any person who either lives or works in the State of Arizona; who has an express interest in any segment of the food, beverage or hospitality industries and who agree to support the objectives of the group. •   Prospective members may attend two (2) meetings as a guest before making a decision on membership. After two (2) meetings prospective members may fill out an application form and submit it to the Membership Chair. The Membership Chair, or her designee will interview the applicant to outline the objectives of AWFW and the expectations for membership. Applicants agree to support AWFW’s goals and objectives. •   Members will be asked to serve on committees and help with all fundraisers produced by the organization.
